This Privacy Policy describes how NextProd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform. By using NextProd, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name, email address, and password
  • Profile information (display name, bio, avatar)
  • Strategy information (name, description, market categories)
  • Kalshi API credentials (read-only, for track record verification)

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, interactions)
  • Device information (browser type, operating system, screen resolution)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Information from third parties:

  • Kalshi exchange fill data (obtained via read-only API for track record verification)
  • Supabase authentication data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Verify PM track records by matching signals against exchange data
  • Send transactional emails (signal alerts, account updates, verification status)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Kalshi API Credentials

Your Kalshi API credentials receive special protection:

  • Encrypted at rest using Supabase Vault with AES-256 encryption
  • Only read-only API access is requested — we cannot place trades or modify your Kalshi account
  • Credentials are never shared with third parties
  • You can delete your credentials at any time from your account settings

5. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Session management — keeping you logged in
  • Preferences — remembering your settings and choices
  • Analytics — understanding how you use the Platform to improve it

6. Data Sharing

We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers:Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery)
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data including API credentials
  • Supabase Auth with secure session management

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and personal data
  • Object to certain processing of your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format

10. Children's Privacy

NextProd is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. International Users

NextProd is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Right to delete your personal information
  • Right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell your data)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
